Lillix, the all-girl Canadian pop-rock group comprised of vocalist-guitarist Tasha Ray Evin, vocalist-keyboardist Lacey Lee Evin and singer-bassist Louise Burns, recorded "That's What I Like About You" for the show's theme song. The original was released by The Romantics in the late 1970s. Lillix's remake of The Band's 1978 song "Who Do You Love" has also been used for promotional spots for What I Like About You.
